I love Interior Design, Marketing and Happy Clients!

I attained a degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), which has proven to be very helpful in owning my own businesses over the past several years. And, after practicing Tax Accounting as a Certified Public Accountant for 4 years, I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate.

I started my career in the Real Estate industry over 23 years ago, specializing in new home construction.  Not only was I selling homes for various home builders, but I was also showcasing & staging homes...long before it was even popular.  After years of assisting home builders with my design and furnishing expertise for their model homes, I decided to expand on my own design options, by purchasing my own “inventory” of home furnishings and accessories.  I would lease these items to home builders who wanted to “stage” their model homes with beautiful furnishings, for a lease commitment.  The benefit of leasing my furnishings, definitely outweighed the expense of having to purchase all the design elements all at once.

Unfortunately, after many years of success with showcasing & staging homes, the new home construction business came to a complete halt with the housing industry demise in late 2008.  As a result, I had to quickly expand my business by offering my design services to individual sellers and to banks.  By staying on top of the market, I was able to stay in business by selling existing homes and changing my services to accommodate the ever changing, unpredictable housing market.

Today, I am “thrilled” to see the new home construction market making a HUGE comeback in and around the Memphis area.  And, I have also seen a dramatic increase in sales, especially in the Collierville area, where I currently live.  It is very important to recognize the many professionals that have "weathered this economic storm".  I think of these professionals, as the BEST left in the Industry!  

I am proud to have overcome many challenges over the past 6 years, in order to become a positive role model for my three wonderful teenaged sons.  Besides my love for design, marketing & real estate; I also love music, songwriting, travel, spending quality time with friends and family and regularly attending Central Church in Collierville with my family.
